Ecommerce SEO Automation
Optimise a Whole Catalogue Without Doing It by Hand
A catalogue with thousands of SKUs can't be optimised page by page. Product descriptions, category content, metadata, and internal links all need to scale together, and most stores end up with thin or duplicate content instead.
This automation handles large catalogues systematically, so every page gets individual attention without individual hours. Your team reviews the output rather than writing each SKU from scratch.

How It Works
Four steps from a raw product feed to import-ready, optimised content.
Import the Catalogue
Product data is ingested via CSV, API, or direct CMS connection, attributes, categories, and existing content.
Analyse the Gaps
An audit flags thin content, duplicate descriptions, missing metadata, and internal linking gaps.
Generate the Content
Unique descriptions, metadata, and category copy are written to your brand guidelines and SEO rules.
QA and Deliver
Quality checks confirm consistency, then output is delivered as import-ready files or pushed live.
Built for Your Platform
Every ecommerce platform stores product data differently. The systems are configured for each platform's data model, not a generic one-size-fits-all approach.
Shopify & Shopify Plus
Shopify stores product data in a structured format, title, body HTML, tags, vendor, product type. The automation reads your full catalogue via the Admin API, generates unique descriptions and metadata per variant, and writes back through the same API. No CSV juggling.
For larger Shopify Plus stores, bulk operations process the catalogue without hitting rate limits. Collection pages get unique introductory content and optimised meta titles based on the products they contain.
WooCommerce
WooCommerce stores everything in WordPress, descriptions, categories, and attributes are all accessible via the REST API or a direct database export. Product attributes (size, colour, material, brand) and category taxonomy feed the content generation.
Variable products get individual variant descriptions, category archives get unique introductory content, and cross-sell and upsell fields are populated based on attribute similarity.
Magento & Adobe Commerce
Magento's attribute-heavy data model is ideal for automation. Product attributes, configurable options, and category assignments all feed into the content pipeline, working via the REST API or flat CSV exports.
Multi-store setups are handled natively, different descriptions and metadata per store view, the same automation, one run.
BigCommerce & Custom Platforms
BigCommerce product data exports cleanly via the V3 API. For custom or headless platforms, the pipeline works with whatever data format you can provide, CSV, JSON, XML, adapting to your schema.
If your store runs on a bespoke CMS, a custom import and export pipeline is built as part of the project. You won't need to change platform to benefit from automation.

Frequently Asked Questions
How large a catalogue can you handle?
Large catalogues are processed in a single run. The system scales with the size of the catalogue, more products means a longer run, not a different approach. Every SKU is handled the same way rather than a sample being picked out.
Will the descriptions sound generic or robotic?
No. Each description is generated from the product's own attributes, your brand guidelines, and its category context, so it's specific to the product rather than interchangeable filler. Duplicate copy is checked across the whole catalogue.
Which ecommerce platforms do you support?
Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, and custom platforms. The pipeline works with CSV exports or direct API connections, and adapts to a bespoke schema where needed.
Can you maintain brand voice across a whole catalogue?
Yes. Brand guidelines and tone rules are encoded into the system, so every description follows the same voice, more consistently than a human team writing the same volume of copy over a long period.
What about ongoing updates for new products?
On a monthly arrangement, new SKUs are processed automatically as they're added to the catalogue, so fresh products don't sit with thin or missing content while they wait for a manual pass.
How is this different from using a chatbot to write product descriptions?
A general chatbot writes one description at a time with no awareness of your catalogue structure, brand guidelines, or existing content. This processes the whole catalogue as a batch, every description is aware of the product's attributes, category context, and sibling products, brand voice is enforced consistently, and duplicates are checked across the entire output. You get structured output ready to import, not one-at-a-time copy-paste.
Do you handle product images and alt text?
Yes. Where your product data includes image filenames or URLs, unique alt text is generated for every image based on the product name, key attributes, and category. That improves both accessibility and image search visibility across the catalogue.
